I made a film featuring music by my friends The Men who've just been named number 15 of the 100 best records of 2011 according to Spin Magazine. This footage was selected form the ends of rolls of film I'd shot for other projects this summer and had to finish to get the film developed. Without a pre-planned idea of what to make, it ended up turning into a film about mourning the loss of the summer season. Now that it's the new year, my promise to myself it to live each season to the fullest! Enjoy the film!

Tessa and Jared reached out to me when they started planning their wedding and from the first time we talked I knew this wedding was going to be a wedding filled with Do-It-Yourself love and detail. The ceremony was set in the backyard of Tessa's family home in Norwell, Massachusetts. I arrived to find the property filled with hand-made decorations, hay bales as seats, and family photographs from both sides of the aisle. The ceremony and reception were so intimate and moving and I especially enjoyed how the whole family and the guests took part in funny group ceremonies. Jenny Kim's is such a great photographer and took great photos of the day. To me, this was a D.I.Y. wedding done with perfect combination of hand-made style and natural beauty. Thanks for sharing such a loving day with me Jared and Tessa!

Rata and Chris - Hudson, New York

Chris and Rata's wedding day was the kind that you wish everyone has. The whole day was spent on a beautiful estate overlooking the Hudson River in upstate New York. The location was as beautiful as the event was moving. The ceremony combined traditional Iranian elements with the classic American wedding, which made so many beautiful moments for me to shoot. Rata and I bonded over our mutual love of Jose Gonzalez in the months before the wedding so I looked forward to scoring the soundtrack for their film. You both were so great to work with, thanks for having me there Rata and Chris!

Stephanie and Terence, Upstate New York

Stephanie and Terence had their beautiful wedding in upstate New York on Stephanie's parents' property. The scene was complete with their farm animals, beautiful walking paths, and a barn. The property runs on solar power to top it off! The day was just asking to be shot in black and white from the moment the rain stopped in time to have the ceremony outside to Terence and Stephanie sneaking away in the woods at sunset to share some time together. Thanks you two for having me there!

This is the second part of Cassandra and Breton's wedding day in Newburyport, Ma. Once these two were married there was no stopping them. From running around the beach coming dangerously close to swimming in their beautiful attire to the dance floor, Breton and Cassandra lived their wedding day to the fullest. Cassandra and Breton were married in the beautiful coastal town of Newburyport, Massachusetts, North of Boston yet it feels worlds away when walking by the local shops and Bed and Breakfast. You couldn't ask for a better location for a super 8mm film. Their wedding day was so stunning that I am posting a two chapter installation of it! Breton and Cassandra were full of energy the whole day and you could see and feel the love that they have for each other, but I won't spoil the fun, let the film roll!

Adrianne and Rob's Wedding in NYC

Adrianne and Rob were so much fun to work with. The ceremony and reception were in walking distance of each other in the iconic Flatiron district. The whole day was designed with a elegant cream and green pattern in mind. The music was amazing and everybody danced late into the night. Thanks to Rob and Adrianne for including me and my super 8 camera in the celebration.
